The team was able to secure the Mobile Legends' most coveted trophy after they pulled a 4-0 sweep over defending champion.
With Echo's historic win, their jungle KartTzy became the first player to win an M-series twice since he led Bren Esports at the M2 World Championship two years ago.
For his series-winning plays in the grand final, Echo's gold laner Bennyqt was hailed the grand final MVP and was awarded US$5,000.
ECHO will take home US$300,000, while Blacklist International will walk away with US$120,000.
This is the third straight year that a Filipino squad has won the world championship.
