Squid Game is coming to life!
Netflix on Wednesday, June 15 announced “Squid Game: The Challenge.”
The streaming giant recently started recruiting players for the 10-episode series. To join, you can visit this link. No worries, it will not be life or death that is at stake, as depicted in the dystopian drama.
But like in the show, there will be 456 participants in the game and a grand prize of 4.56 million dollars— the largest cast and cash prize in a reality TV show.
Participants need to be at least 21 years old and must speak English fluently. They must also be available for up to 4 weeks in early 2023 for filming in UK.
“The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed,” the streamer said in a statement.
Netflix recently greenlit “Squid Game” Season 2. The first Season holds the record as Netflix's most-popular series of all time with over 1.65 billion view hours in the first 28 days.
