In case you missed it, Nature’s Spring issued a statement over the viral video of a street vendor refilling their bottles with water from a styrofoam box.
The bottled water brand in its official statement issued on June 4 assured the public that “each bottle of Nature's Spring Water is processed inside sanitized Manufacturing Plants with the highest quality standards and authorized by the FDA to ensure the safety of the consumers.”
They also left a reminder to check the bottle cap seal upon purchase.
“If the seal is found broken, please return it to the seller for replacement,” it said.
In a separate post, Nature’s Spring provided a checklist to spot sealed or unopened bottles from those with broken seals.
In an interview with GMA’s 24 Oras, the street vendor in the viral video said she did not sell the water bottles she refilled but used it to take a bath.
“Nagsasalin talaga ako dahil sobrang init, binuhos ko sa ulo ko,” she said.
