The Bayanihan E-Konsulta program launched by Vice President Leni Robredo and the Office of the Vice President (OVP) is set to conclude its services on May 31, a few weeks before the outgoing VP steps down from office.
The teleconsultation program was kickstarted on April 7, 2021 to help address the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
In a statement, the OVP thanked those who joined the initiative to reach Filipinos who are in need of healthcare services in times of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the OVP’s provision of medical and burial assistance will be suspended starting June 1, as they transition to the next administration.
VP Leni's term will end of June 30. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is the presumptive vice president after maintaining a comfortable lead in the recently concluded May 9 polls.
