The Femme Couche VI, a Pablo Picasso artwork which has been reported missing, might have been sighted at the living room of the Marcos home.
Photos of the presumptive president Bongbong Marcos Jr. and his son, Sandro, visiting former first lady Imerlda Marcos are circulating online. In the photos, a Picasso painting is seen hanging on the walls of the Marcos living room.
Former Presidential Commission on Good Governance (PCGG) Chair Andy Bautista who was then tasked to investigate the ill-gotten wealth of the Marcoses alerted the agency of this sighting.
"PCGG, the Picasso is back! Please seize it for the Filipino people while you still can!" Bautista's tweet read.
Film director Lauren Greenfield, who directed the documentary film "Kingmaker" also believed that the missing Picasso painting has been found.
"Picasso is back!" Greenfield tweeted.
The artwork is one of the pieces the Sandiganbayan ordered to be seized. But in the "Kingmaker", Bautista said it has already been removed and replaced with another artwork when the authorities came.
It is not yet confiemd whether the spotted painting is the original or replica of the Picasso piece.
