The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, a non-partisan, non-profit organization in the Philippines that works and strives for better elections, is looking into the alleged “68:32 magic” or the supposed consistent vote ratio in the partial, unofficial results of the 2022 presidential elections.
"We've seen those reports. We've been receiving the same information din. Right now, it's no cause of concern but PPCRV is looking into it," Atty. Vann Dela Cruz, PPCRV’s spokesperson and director for legal affairs, said in a briefing.
As the Commission on Elections released partial, unofficial poll results, several netizens noticed possible electoral fraud, pointing out a consistent 68:32 ratio transmission of poll results favoring Partido Federal standard-bearer Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
The poll watchdog said they have already coordinated with Comelec to check the server logs to verify the alleged anomaly.
"We've actually already communicated our request sa Comelec to request for what they called a system log server," Dela Cruz said.
"Doon po natin makikita and to verify din po kung merong any anomaly. But right now, it's no cause for concern."
The poll watchdog earlier reiterated that they are not about speed but accuracy.
