Vice presidential candidate Rizalito David has endorsed Leni Robredo for president.
"Tahasan kong ini-endorso, with respect to my ka-tandem na si Dr. [Jose] Montemayor Jr., na si Leni Robredo ay ating tulungan," David said during the Comelec-KBP PiliPinas Forum 2022.
David said he is supporting Robredo as she has the chance of winning over Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
"Sana 'wag manalo si Bongbong Marcos at si Sara Duterte kaya kung si Leni Robredo ang maaaring makatalo sa kanila o sa kanya, kay Bongbong Marcos, siya po ang ating tulungan," he added.
David also expressed support to Senate President Vicente Sotto, who is running for vice president, as he is the "best man for the job.”
