16 professional volleyball players were named as part national team pool for the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Philippine National Volleyball FederatioN (PNVF) president Ramon “Tats’’ Suzara announced the top 16 women who will be playing for the Philippines in upcoming Sea Games to be held in Brazil.

Suzara also revealed that Filipino-American spiker Kalei Mau, star playmaker Jia Morado, Nakhon Ratchasima import Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Champions League MVP Kianna Dy and Jasmine Nabor declined the invitation to join the national team.
"On April 12, our teams will travel to Brazil for the first time,” said Suzara. “We’re going on the other side of the globe to have a two-week extensive training just before the SEA Games.”
The 31st edition of the event will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam from May 12 to 23.
