ICYMI, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez have made amends

Carla Abella and Tom Rodriguez were first teamed up for their first ever project "My Husband's Lover" in 2013. A year later, the two announced that they're dating. After 7 years of being together, the two tied the knot in October 2021.

However, just months after their wedding, rumors of their alleged breakup circulated online. The speculations rooted from the news that they unfollowed each other in Instagram. Fans were surprised of the news as there hasn't been big issues about the couple before.

Taking all the hits they could get, netizens linked a model to the rumored breakup. The model then spoke up about the issue to clear her name, saying the actor apologized to her regarding the issue.

In February 2022, fans were relieved to see Rodriguez's sweet comments on the actress' Instagram post.

But just this month, the actress' father, Rey Abellana, revealed during an interview that the newly-wed couple's problem began when the actor had a one night stand. 

But Abella also clarified that what he said to the veteran broadcaster was not exactly correct. He said Rodriguez already explained to her daughter that the one night stand did not actually happened. 

The newlyweds are now settled down, said Mr. Abellana.
