Only 18,000 people, and not 500,000, joined the UniTeam rally in Las Piñas on March 13, the city’s top cop clarified.
In a statement, Las Piñas City Chief of Police Col Jaime Santos belied the news that the rally, organized for the campaign of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate vice presidential aspirant Mayor Sara Duterte, was attended by half a million people.
Wala pong katotohanan iyan,” he added.
