"Very Peri" is Pantone's Color of the Year for 2022

For this year, the global color authority has created a brand new color— the PANTONE® 17-3938 Very Peri.

Pantone Color Institute's Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman in a statement said, "It was really important for us to come up with a new color, because we have a very new vision of the world now.”

On Twitter, Pantone described the new color as “a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet red undertone blends the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red.”
