The national capital region (NCR) will be staying under Alert Level 3 until November 14, extending the current lockdown restriction imposed in the region, Malacañang announced on Friday, October 29.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque the government is gradually easing the alert level in order to prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases.
Under Alert Level 3, establishments with indoor venues are allowed to open up to 30 percent capacity for fully vaccinated customers and 50 percent capacity for alfresco venues, provided that workers are fully inoculated.
Roque also noted that public transportation will be allowed to increase passenger capacity from 50 percent to 70 percent starting November 4.
