Based on the fighting video game series and hit graphic novel of the same title, more DC Comics-inspired films are coming to the screen.
The new DC animated movie "Injustice" is slated to be launched on BluRay and Digital formats on October 19 this year!
Here’s what we know, so far!
DC’s animated film “Injustice” is heavily inspired by “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” (2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, 2017’s Injustice 2) the popular video game developed by Mortal Kombat studio NetheRealm, and the best-selling graphic novel, “Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One.”
“The animated film Injustice finds an alternate world gone mad - where The Joker has duped Superman into killing Lois Lane, sending the Man of Steel on a deadly rampage. Unhinged, Superman decides to take control of the Earth for humanity’s own good. Determined to stop him, Batman creates a team of like-minded, freedom-fighting heroes.” WarnerMedia’s statement read.
The lineup of the famous DC Comics’ superheroes in the alternate universe of “Injustice” includes Justin Hartley and Anson Mount headlining the all-star cast as Superman and Batman, respectively. Joining them are Janey Varney as Wonder Woman, Laura Bailey as Lois Lane and Rama Kushna, Zach Callison as Damian, Brandon Michael Hall as Cyborg, Kevin Pollak as Joker and Jonathan Kent, Brian T. Delaney as Green Lantern, Anika Noni Rose as Catwoman, and Reid Scott as Green Arrow and Victor Zsasz.

"Injustice" will be directed by Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War), with the script penned by Ernie Altbacker (Batman: Hush), production will be helmed by Rick Morales (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge) together with Sam Register as executive producer.
