National Museum reopens to the public

In a Facebook post, NMP said that all its central museums in the National Museum Complex in Rizal Park are reopening. This includes the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History.

Visitors need to pre-book their visits and comply with health and safety guidelines imposed by the museum. 

Central museums are open from Tuesdays to Sundays, excluding religious holidays. The morning session is scheduled from 9 AM to 12 NN, while the afternoon session is from 1 PM to 4 PM. Each session is limited to 100 persons per building.

The museum welcomes visitors ages 15 to 65, including those with disabilities. They must book their visit on National Museum’s website at least a day before. Group reservations are limiter to 5 persons, while walk-in visitors will not be entertained.

Inside the museum, visitors are required to observe health measures including the wearing of face masks and face shields as well as physical distancing. 

Regional museums will also be opened soon, according to NMP. The National Planetarium, meanwhile, remains closed as theaters and cinemas are still prohibited in the capital region.
