Good news! Baguio City is now going cashless with the help of SquidPay platform.
Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong declared payments for government services can now be paid through the SquidPay app.
SquidPay is trusted because they have a license from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and can also serve as your electronic wallet (e-wallet).
The online payment platform was released to prevent physical contact and maintain social distancing during this pandemic.
SquidPay will be accepted in the following facilities:
- Parks
- Public markets
- Parking
- Public transportation
- Government services
- Private businesses
- Small and medium-sized enterprises
And can be used to:
- Send money
- Pay bills
- Buy mobile load
- Pay for goods and services at affiliated stores
SquidPay users can cash-in through bank deposits, SquidPay kiosks, online banking, and payment centers.
