PBA star Jimmy Alapag, his wife Lj Moreno, and their three kids Ian Maximus, Keona Skye, and Calen Asher arrived at their new home in the United States to start anew, amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
Contrary to previous reports that they migrated in the US for good, the couple clarified in a vlog that they haven’t left for good and they still want to go back to the Philippines in the future.
Alapag and Moreno explained that they moved to the US to be closer to their family and that their decision was not made in haste.
"This was a decision that LJ and I did not just make in haste like ‘okay, we're leaving.’ It was something that we talked about often. All the signs pointed to come here, to be closer to family."
The San Miguel Alab Pilipinas coach also mentioned in the vlog his plans to bring to the Philippines the coaching lessons he will learn from the US.
“We're going to miss family and friends in the Philippines but at the same time, we're optimistic about what God has in store for us here,” the family wrote in their vlog’s description.
