A documentary about the phenomenal K-pop girl group Blackpink is premiering on Netflix this October 14, the streaming platform confirmed.
"BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky — an all-access documentary about one of the world's most popular groups — premieres in your area on October 14," Netflix announced.

The documentary, called 'Blackpink: Light up the Sky' will feature exclusive interviews and footage of the members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa in their everyday lives and the making of their Coachella performance, according to a Variety report.
Directed by Caroline Suh, Blackpink: Light up the Sky is Netflix's first Kpop documentary. It joins other musical and concert documentaries on the platform, including Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana and Lady Gaga’s Five Foot Two.
Aside from the documentary’s premiere, Netflix announced that the members will also be available as profile icons on October 14.
Blackpink recently released their newest song, Ice Cream, a collaboration with singer Selena Gomez. The group is also set to release their first full-length album, The Album, on October 2.
