Sen. Hontivers seek to probe the ‘shoot-to-kill’ remark..
Good news, iOS users! Your conversations can be extra safe from nosy friends and family with Facebook Messenger’s newest update.
Facebook Messenger just added a new way to protect conversations from unwanted access through the latest feature, App lock. This enables iOS users to lock the app with the device’s face or fingerprint ID.
Here’s how you can enable it:
Get Messenger’s latest version (at least Version 274.1) on the App store.
On the app, tap on your profile photo on the upper left.
Select Privacy > App lock
Switch on Require Touch ID or Require Face ID
Choose when to lock Messenger after leaving.
Users can respond to messages and calls by tapping on the notification and unlocking through fingerprint or face ID. They can also see message previews, depending on their notification settings.
Last year, WhatsApp, another Facebook-owned messenger app, also update with the same feature for iOS users.
The App lock feature is not yet available for Android users.
