Wong improved from her silver finish in the taolu taijijian event in the 2017 SEAG
Filipina wushu sensation Agatha Wong delivered her second gold in the wushu competitions of the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) by topping the taolu taijijian event this time.
Wong wowed the crowd inside the World Trade Center in Pasay City with her near flawless routine.
The product of College of St. Benilde tallied a score of 9.65 to clinch her second gold in the biennial event. Wong previously topped the taolu taijiquan event last Sunday.
"I'm still trying to think if I really won in this event. I've been through so much. I'm very honered to have this opportunity," said Wong, who was in disbelief in notching her second gold medal in this year's SEAG.
Vietnam's Thi Minh Tran (9.63) and Brunei Darussalam's Basma Lachkar (9.62) received the silver and bronze medals, respectively in this event.
