Congratulations to our new licensed teachers!
The Professional Regulations Commission announced the results of the September 2019 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Sunday, December 1.
Out of 92, 440 examinees, 28, 973 (31.34%) elementary teachers passed the exam. With a 39.68% passing rate, 54, 179 out of 136, 523 secondary teachers passed the exam.
PRC also announced that 24, 066 out of 28, 973 elementary teacher passers and 48, 447 out of 54, 179 secondary teacher passers are first-timers.
The University of Southeastern Philippines — Tagum topped the Elementary Level overall rankings of top-performing schools with a 96.07% passing rate (171 out of 178 examinees). Moreso, the University of the Philippines—Los Banos led the top-performing schools on the Secondary Level with an overall passing rate of 98.00% (49 out of 50 examinees).
Kezia Keren Ambag of the Philippine Normal University — Mindanao topped the Elementary Level exams (92.60%) while Marlou Pugoy Camano of the University of Southern Mindanao — Kidapawan led the secondary school teacher passers.
The date and venue of the oath-taking ceremonies come a few weeks after the release of the results of the board exam.
